!Joseph came with his parents to Trumbell Co. in 1810. Joseph left MAon May 20 and settled in the southwest part of Braceville on the 3rd day of July. There were 22 persons who traveled with Mr. Allen from Massachusettes. Joseph could have also been married to a lady named Rachael Jacobs(Rachael may be Mary). They hada total of 7 children. Joseph and Mary were married in Mass. and came to Trumbell Co., Ohio about 1810 or 1811 as on 1 Sep 1811 land was deeded to Mary fromJonathan Jacobs.Joseph was a shoemaker and also ran a tannery for several years. Joseph Allen served in the Revolutionary War.
