A decendant:
" Daniel Plum was a master builder and his wife was wellknown as a Marvelous cook and a wonderfully warmhearted person. Their only child, mary Lois Plum, met my paternal grandfather when they were both students at Hiram College.
Two children wre born tom Grandmother (always called Lois) and my grandfather, Benjamin Moore Derhick. I am the elder daughter of their son, Everest Plum Derthick and his wife, the former Mabel Carmichael. I have a younger sister, Marha, who is a professor at the University of Virginia--She has never married.
The younger child in the Plum-Derthick marriage was my Aunt Louise. Her Daughter is Shirly B. Martin, 414 South St. St.Marys St., St. MarysPA 15857.
