, Clara was burned when her clothing caught fire about 8 o'clock in the morning. Clara, five years old, was on the second floor of the Pfingsten home, on Center Street in Pittston, when her night clothing caught fire She ran down the stair to her, who was tending to her son Joseph, who was about 20 days old. Clara was terribly burned about the hands and face. She talked much till the end, passing away at 11 o'clock in the evening. Her body was interred at St. Mary's Assumption Cemetery at Hughestown, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
