HUBERT2 PFINGSTEN (Anthony1) was born on Tuesday 23 March 1869 at Pittston, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. He married Maria Kolb, daughter of Henry Kolb, circa 1899. Hubert died on 18 November 1947 at Cleveland City Hospital at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 78 of a cerebral vascular accident. His body was interred at Calvary Cemetery,Section 28, Lot 595, at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Hubert andhis family moved to Cleveland, probably in 1916.

PITTSTON GAZETTE-MONDAY NOVEMBER 24, 1941

Fifty years ago today,on November 24,1891,Mr.and Mrs.John Pfingsten,of 10 Mill street,were united in marriage by the late Rev.William Brehl,pastor of Saint Mary's Assumption parish,in the old frame church building which occupied the site on lower William street now occupied by Saint John the Baptist Congregation. Today Mr.and Mrs.Pfingsten are celebrating the occasion quietly at their home,for Mr.Pfingsten has beenconfined to bed by illness for the past few days and no formal celebration is planned. On Saturday next,son,daughter and four grandchildrenof the couple will be guests of a family dinner in commemoration of the anniversary.
Mrs.Pfingsten is the former Elizabeth Albert,of Honesdale. Mr.Pfingsten is the son of the late Anthony and Mary Pfingsten and was born in Danville,Montour County,but he resided in Pittston since he was four years old. Mr,Pfingsten followed the carpenter trade about the mines andat Coxton Yards until recent years when he obtained employment in thecity street department. He has not worked for the past four years. Mrs.Jacob Baker,of 84 Carroll street was bridesmaid for the couple. Frank Albert, Honesdale,brother of Mrs.Pfingsten,who died a number of years ago,was best man.
Rev.Henry A.Diehl,pastor of Saint Mary's Assumption Church visited the Pfingsten home at 7 o'clock this morning and gave Holy Communion toboth jubilarians. At 8 o'clock the anniversary mass was calebrated atSaint Mary;s by Rev.Father Diehl,which Mrs.Pfingsten attended. Mrs.Martin Hart,of Bound Brook,N.J.,is a daughter of the couple and HUBERT PGINGSTEN,of Swoyerville,Their only son. The latter has four children.....

the 1930 census describes that Anthony Pfingsten b, 1875 of New Jersey Father was from PA and mother was from Germany
