!BIOGRAPHY: Daniel was mentioned in the 1800 will of his grandfather,James
Keyt. Daniel removed to Hamilton , Butler Co., Ohio where he was a carpenter
and contractor. Daniel's will dated July 24 1822 mentions a mill on the Rahway
River in New Jersey, a lot in Hamilton, a new farm in Butler Co., hiswife
Eleanor and unnamed children

FTM Ohio Vital Records #1 1790-1870:

"May 1828 - KEYT and KEYT vs, KEYTS executors, et. al. Filed 9-10-1827. Daniel Keyt, dec'd left will dated 5-25-1822 with the executors ofwill being his wife Eleanor and James McBride. Widow, Eleanor now thewife of Robert Jones. Heirs: James Keyt and Ann Eliza Keyt of New Jersey children and heirs of David R Keyt, dec'd late of Butler Co., Ohiowho died in year 1814. Benjamin Crane, dec'd late of Butler Co., Ohio(77,108 & 208)"
