Edwin had consumption for 1 year previous his death. His wife, Ann, died in
1885. Edwins Will was made out 25 March 1886. The estate was settledas per
Will after sale of propery and settlement was made to all except JaneJacobs
for whom there is no known address. Angeline Mosher lives in Los Angeles,
Lucinda is now Mrs. John Poff of Adams County, and Lurinda is now Mrs. Frank
Flannery. Wm. H. Young had died and John Jacobs was appointed executor.
Obituary: Edwin Jacobs died at the home of son John E. Jacobs Feb 1, 1903. Aged
62 years 15 days. The deceased was born in DeKalb Co. Indianna, Jan 16 1841 and
came to Wisconsin in the fall of 1846. He was married in 1860 to Ann Smith she
having died about 18 years ago. Seven children were born to them, allof whom
are living. The funeral was held at the M. E. church in Argyle, yesterday.
