Ann and Sterling Hotchkiss built a lovely frame house near Alabama, NY. Their
daughter, Ann Hitchcock died 10 days after the birth of her daughter,Ann Eliza
Hitchcock, so little Ann Eliza lived with her grandparents in the oldhome and
spent her life there. On our trips to Batavia we always went to see the lovely
old house. All the original funiture, etc. was in it. The last occupant was
Cora who had no children, byt Zella's grandchildren visiting there one day
played with matches and the house was destroyed in 1946.

Ann married Sterling Hotchkiss on 27 Apr 1826. (Sterling Hotchkiss was born on 7 Jul 1803 and died in 1882.)
