He was listed as a prominent resident of Middleton, CT in a newspaperarticle of unknown title. (F-314N) He was a private in the Civil War, inCompany I, Unit 15 of the Connecticut Infantry. (F-17, E) His obituary isvery short and lists no relatives. He is not listed with any wifeorchildren in Clara Forte's pedigrees of the family. This would have beenher uncle. She traced her other's descendants on the charts, so I amassuming Leslie had not children.
