A note on the settlement of the estate of Edward Connet says:
"To Gideon Keyt and Margaret Connet Keyt the sum of $618.50 received in
office, Nov 20 1820"
Perhaps it was this money that Gideon used to buy David a farm, though David
was a baby at this time.
Edward married Margaret Williams on 15 Apr 1781. (Margaret Williams was born on 15 Apr 1760 and died on 6 Jan 1835.)
