William Keyt was born January 24, 1668 Married Cousin Agnes Clopton died October 31, 1702 Died before the birth of Agnes and 30 days beforethe death of his father William.

With the death of their father and grandfather, the late Majesty Queen Ann was graciously pleased to grant a warrant to the Earl Warehal of England in favour of Agnes the relict (widow ) of the said William Keyte, Esquire, and her 5 young children a copy of which warrant as fol lows:

Ann Rex. Ann, by the grace of God, Queen of England, Scotland, France, and Ireland, defe nder of the faith etc. To out right and true and well-beloved Cousin and counillor Charles Ea rl of Carlise Earl Marshall of England during the minority of our right truly and entirely we ll-beloved Cousin Thomas Duke of Norfolk. Greeting whereas we are humbly informed that Willia m Keyt Esquire, oldest son to Sir William Keyte Bart. Rx stern pread a Rx. Original of Ebring ton in the County of Gloucester Bart. Dying a few weeks before his father. The widow and youn g children of the said William Keyt cannot by ordinary way and rules of honour enjoy the til e place and prcedences which outherways would have been justly due to her and her children i n case the said Sir.Wm. Keyte had survived his father. We pleased to ordain and declare tha t Agnes Keyte, John Keyte, Frances Keyte, Hastings Keyte, ElizabethKeyte, and Margaret Keyt e the relict (widow) and younger children ofthe said William Keyte, shall from henceforth ha ve hold and enjoy the same title prehemence place and residence respectively as if the said W illiam Keye had survived his father and been possessed of that dignity of a Baronet and our w ill and pleasure is that you our Earl Marshall and to whom the cognisanc of matters of this o rature may properly belong, do see this our will and order obeyed and kept our serveraloffic ers of Arms and for so doing this shall be your discharge or warrant given at our Castle of W indsor the 5th Day of June 1704 in the year of our reigh. By her Majesty's command.
