My Lydia BROOKS from New Marlborough married Rufus ALLEN in New Marlborough, Berkshire County, MA and migrated to BracevilleTownship in Trumbull County on July 3rd, 1810. Her family in New Marlborough arrived about the same time and took up farms near Newton Falls, as shown in the 1830 tax rolls. Don't know nuffin' 'bout Mercer County, PA.
Lydia married Rufus Allen, son of Jonathan Allen and Sarah Lawrence, on 28 Oct 1784. (Rufus Allen was born on 6 Feb 1762 in New Marlborough, Berkshire Co., MA, christened on 27 May 1772 in Caanan, , CT, First Church, died on 17 Aug 1829 in Braceville, Trumbell Co., OH and was buried in Braceville, Trumbell Co., OH.)
