The following is from a letter I received from the daughter of Katrina
Jankowski; Wanda Weninger, Russbergstr. 13/11/P, 1210 Wien, Austria,Europe.
"Your Grand-Uncle, Joseph Jankowski,had been married and he had 3 children
and lived in Saybusch (Hohe Tatre in Poland). Sorry, I don
t know theaddress.
He was killed by the Nazis during the second world war in the KZ Zuchlewold."
Joseph was the twin brother of Sophie (Jankowski) Klatka. Family stories
have been told that Joseph was skinned alive by the Nazi
s. I have no
confirmation of that.
