Ada Edith Fletcher

  General Notes:

I saw your family tree on Ancestry.com, and I was wondering what elseyou might know about the family of Ada Edith FLETCHER and William Asher KEYT. Ada and her two daughters, Evelyn and Laverne, are living with Charles E. POWERS and his son Harold F. POWERS in Portland, OR per the 1920 U.S. Federal Census. According to your family tree, Ada's first husband died in 1916 so she must have remarried between the death of her husband in 1916 and the 1920 Census. And by the 1930 Census, she's listed as a widow and living with her daughters so her second husband must have died also between the two census dates. I'm speculating that Charles died in California since his son Harold can be found living there as of the 1930 Census. And I know that Charles was alive as of 1922 because he is mentioned in his brother's obituary as livingin California. Do you know if Ada went to California with Charles? And maybe she returned to Portland by 1930 after he died?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Ada married William Asher Keyt, son of Ebenezer Connet Keyt and Amanda Doty, on 6 Sep 1903. (William Asher Keyt was born on 23 Aug 1878 and died on 30 Aug 1916.)

Ada next married --- Minton after 1916. (--- Minton died in Bef 1930.)
