!SOURCE: From the Keyt Family History Album. Handed down to me from my
grandmother, I do not know who compiled it. The first page is a letter to Mrs.
Vesta T. Henderson of Austinburg, Ohio from G.E. Keyt, Attorney at Law of
Toledo, Ohio dated july 28, 1927. The contents of the letter describeregrets
for not being able to attend the annual Keyt reunion. He also adds information
on his trip to Ebrington, England and his visits to Keyt family graves.
Keyt History begins at the earlist known dwelling place, Ireland. For some
cause not known the Keyts became dissatisfied with their Irish home and left
the Emerald Isle and made a new home in England, Where they have continued to
live for 600 years. The family held the chief positions of their villiage for
over 300 years.
