Married 1788 Cynthania [Cinthania] May [1762-1851] Children John [1790-1863], married Susanna Beck; Abraham [1791-1855], married Sarah Brittain; David born 1803, married Christina Fultz; Jacob born 1805, married Elmy Keyte; Lewis born 1815, married Rebecca Hauger; Elizabeth; Rebecca; and Catherine. Service Served with Rangers of the Frontiers, 1778-1783 Lieutenant in Captain JohnVan Meter's Company, of Militia, 4th Westmoreland Battalion, W. C. Benjamin Davis's Company. Called out for running the line between Pennsylvania and Virginia He served from June 6 to June 14, 1782.
