ABBEVILLE Duane J. Inkster, 73, of 711 Highway 28 N., widower of Miriam Powell Inkster, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.Born in Geauga County, Ohio, he was a son ofthe late Jerry and Jessie Jacobs Inkster. He was a self-employed mechanic.Survivors include a son, Mark Inkster of Abbeville; a daughter, Donna Inkster of Decatur, Ga.; a sister, Ila Klatka of Ohio; and three grandchildren.Visitation is from 1-2 Sunday at Harris Funeral Home.No further services are planned.Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, P.O. Box 242, Greenwood, S.C. 29648.Harris Funeral Home is in charge.
