He received a degree in Physics from Grove City College (Grove City, PA).William served on active duty in the Navy during World War II in both theAtlantic and Pacific. He was employed as a research engineer for NationalGypsum Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1983. He and hiswife weredevout Catholics attending St. Gregory. He was previously a member of theAmherst Players. Other interests of his included bowling and golf. Iremember him for his great smile, friendly and easy going disposition. Hemade one feel welcome in the family.
